The Administrative Assistant, Employee Benefits will provide administrative and claims support to group clients and employees.

You will be accountable for:

  • Preparation of new business administration kits
  • Claims data entry and adjudication
  • Maintaining client files
  • Handling general client claims inquiries
  • Providing back up to other positions within the Resource Centre
  • Required Competencies and Behaviors:

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Keyboarding skills - 40 wpm
  • Strong math skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - Team player
  • Proficiency with MS Office programs and the ability to learn other applications quickly
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Knowledge of the group insurance industry
