CDA Net - Electronic Dental Claims

To submit EDI transactions, the CDCS network phone number is added to your software in the same manner as NDC / ACE and BCE Emergis / Shared Health. Our NetWork ID is 610129

CDA Standards Supported

Canadian Dental Association (CDA) Standard Versions 2 and 4.
Claim, Pre-Determination and Reversal transactions are supported.

Processing

Real Time Edits are performed for Group/Policy # and Certificate numbers.
Transactions are then processed in Batch mode. This means the system will receive your electronic transmission, and then reply immediately with an electronic confirmation message.
Adjudication of the claim occurs the next day, after which, detailed responses and payments are made in the same manner as they have in the past.

Communications Setup

We have our own network with our own free phone number for your system to dial. The communications protocol is the standard set by CDA. The communication set-up is the same as that being used by the Blue Crosses.
